October was an excellent month for fishing with the lakes running with water after all the rain – the fish have been taking the usual Blue Damsel, Montana & Buzzer. Well, May ended with a very warm spell which certainly got the water temperature rising sharply. Fishing has been very good across all lakes with Rosies and Coot being the most productive, Rosies has fished particularly well in marquee bay and in the trench along the northern bank – best method has been floating line, long leader and weighted fly.
