Corporate Days

Duncton Mill Trout Fishery is regarded as one of the finest venues available for corporate events, functions and club days.

Our location is superb.  An easy commute from London, we are conveniently located just off the A285 (4 miles south of Petworth and 7 miles north of Chichester) at the base of the South Downs - a designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'

The picturesque natural setting is rural, yet modern.  The facilities available are of the highest standard offering all of the modern conveniences, yet preserving the rustic charm of the site.

Corporate events and functions
Various venues to choose from including:

  • Modern, converted function room with log fire

  • Club houses

  • Marquee and outdoor arrangements

We offer several convenient options including:

  • Self catering, provided by yourself, using our professional kitchen equipment

  • Catering arrangements by Duncton Mill.  This can be customised to your requirements and can include breakfast, full hearty country lunch and afternoon tea.

Facilities are still available if no catering is required.

Dining can be inside one of our venues, or alfresco according to the season.  Dinner parties or private evening functions can also be accommodated and catered for in our comfortable, modern club house-an historic venue guaranteed to impress your guests or clients.

Alcohol and other beverages can be arranged on a consignment sale or return basis.

Corporate and Fishing Club Days
We have a variety of options available to you with Blast and Cast a popular option - the combination of adrenaline filled shooting with the relaxation of fly fishing enabling participants both to focus and relax - a real treat for colleagues and clients.

The normal agenda is to arrive about 9 -9.30am and, following breakfast consisting of coffee, bacon rolls and pastries, participants then go out for an instructed session on the shooting layout followed by a fun yet often serious competition.

Lunch is served in our comfortable club room with our Sussex Spit Roast Lamb being our speciality with copious amounts of home made fruit crumbles and meringues to follow.

After lunch guided by our instructors the participants head for the lakes to catch a fresh trout or two!!  This is the most relaxing part of the day, with the fishing often being overshadowed by the glorious beauty of the fishing location, abundant wildlife and tranquillity.

Activities
We specialise in providing simply the best fly fishing but can also arrange other activities and country pursuits to complement the fishing.  These include, amongst others:-

  • Archery

  • Clay Pigeon shooting

  • Axe throwing

  • Skittles

  • Another opportunity is a tour of our very own trout farm.  The fascinating tour allows you to see the life cycle of rainbow trout from eggs through to fully grown fish up to 18 lbs.

Amenities and Facilities

  • 4 lakes stocked with quality fighting rainbow, brown and tiger trout (2lb upwards) from our own trout farm

  • 2 fully equipped club houses with complimentary refreshments, comfortable lounge seating and log fire

  • Spring-fed, gin clear water
