Martin’s Mid March Report

Well many things could happen in life, but I wasn’t expecting the current problem of Coronavirus. Obviously, things are moving very quickly at the present time and the government advice is changing daily. We are open for fishing as normal and it really is the perfect past time for your mental and physical health in these challenging times.

We suggest you bring your own pen to sign in and coffee in a flask, if you do not want to use the facilities in the club room. But these will still be available for your use if required.

We are stocking all lakes with some beautiful Rainbow and Brown trout. Duncton Mill is blessed with 12 acres of water and 45 fishing stands, so plenty of room to enjoy fishing in solitude during the current self distancing measures.

If you use any of our facilities, please ensure you wash your hands for the recommended 20 seconds and use the paper towels provided and dispose of these in the bins.

We will stay open as long as the government guidelines permit us to. We hope you can come and fish with us and enjoy time on your own at this tricky time. Clubs were booked in, unfortunately some of these have cancelled. Due to this, we won’t post close dates on the website at the present time. So please call the office phone for close dates.

Stay well and we look forward to seeing you soon.
