Martins November December Report – NOW OPEN FOR DAY TICKETS

The rain has continued to influence the fishing in the last few weeks with the constant rain and downpours… for those anglers who have ventured out the fishing has been excellent on all the lakes with fish staying pretty deep on most day, and then on the odd brighter day the fish have been moving to Buzzer hatches, most of the fish that have been spooned are full of black buzzer, needless to say this has been the fly of choice although the ubiquitous Blue Damsel has been working well as usual, as said the best method has been with a sinking or intermediate line.

We have been getting quite a few nice Browns out, which have survived through the height of the Summer, and are now fully feeding again. The best spots on the lakes have been all around Birch, Rosies has proved most popular on marquee bay or in the trench along the far side, best spots on Coot have been through the middle in the deepest part of the lake.

With the cooler Winter weather the log fire will be going in the club room to warm those frozen fingers, Caroline is back in the zone of baking cakes again so help yourself to a slice to go with a cup of coffee.

We will be holding our Day Ticket prices for the Winter at:
£25 – 2 fish ticket
£30 – 3 fish ticket
£35 – 4 fish ticket
