"The lakes have been fishing well, though there have been times when
they are just not taking. September should be an excellent
month. For the early days, until the water temperature drops,
use ....
If nothing is happening it may be well worth trying a very small
fly retrieved extremely slowly. Watch out for the large
rainbows ..." (Martin prepares a few

Club Day
On Sunday 20 September from 2 pm onwards, with tea being served
between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm. Members are invited to bring
wives, husbands, partners, children and friends. There will be
no charge for tea, but members and guests are asked to make a
donation to the Chestnut Tree Hospice. Fish if you want - no
competition - all casual. (include something
relevant from Duncton Daily)
